terminalplotsAs you all know, the SCOPE Virus has been causing quite the stir in the Digital World, turning infected Digimon into mindless beasts wrecking havoc and leaving destruction in their wake. Since this is the Digital World, everything is considered data in one way, shape, or form, and thus subject to infection.
This includes you, the Chosen~
What does this mean? Well, over the course of October and into November, each of you will show shifts in your personality. Since you have been in the Digital World the longest, you will be the FIRST to show signs of not being yourselves. It won't be anything drastic in the beginning: pervasive thoughts that you wouldn't normally think, or saying things that you would usually keep to yourselves would be the effects most noticeable. Over time, though, your character's shift will get worse and worse until they are VERY MUCH not themselves.
This WILL be able to affect Guilmon, too! It can be with a general personality shift, or if Guilmon would prefer, he can slowly become like the mindless Digimon you have encountered before. We will leave that up to you~
Oh, but there's more to this little ah, "event" than just a change in personality for your characters. "What!? There's more?!" Why, of course there is! Remember your crests that you have worked so hard to get? BWAHAHAHAHAHA they won't be able to help you this time around, kiddies! Once the Virus starts having an effect on your character, your crest will NO LONGER WORK LIKE THEY SHOULD (SEE THE FOLLOWING PARAGRAPH FOR MORE DETAILS). This means that any Digivolving taking place during this time will only be as high as Champion. As well, Cresting assignments will be put on hold. Pretty much everyone will eventually be affected by the Virus, so they will not be themselves. How can the Digital World properly Crest those who do not act how they were meant to? BUT DON'T WORRY! Cresting WILL resume at a later date, so no fretting~.
By OCTOBER 13th, your crests will be able to trigger DARK DIGIVOLUTIONS! Since these personality shifts are basically perversions of your Crests, Digivolving will be going haywire! Not only will Dark Digivolutions be available, but you will be able to do this OUTSIDE OF EVENTS! We will have a section below available for Dark Digivolution applications. To keep things fair and open for everyone, if you have already received a Dark Digivolution, please do not apply. Out of the applications we receive, WE WILL RANDOMLY SELECT THREE (3) using a random number generator who will get a Dark Digivolution. You may use it at any time, but you may only use it ONCE between the time you get it and the time the "event" ends, which will be some time in the middle of November.
When will this all begin? With your group, the Virus will begin taking hold of your character on OCTOBER 6! The "event" officially started with Group 1 on the 29th of September, only because they have been in the Digital World the longest. This will be going on all the way through November (exact dates TBA later), so take your time and have fun!
AS A SIDE NOTE! Everyone will eventually be involved with this, but we would like to keep it as hush-hush as we can. We would like for you all to keep this information to yourselves becausewe love torturing everyone surprises are always fun. Accidents happen, or people get excited, but we would love to keep this on the down-low as much as possible. We hope you understand and can help keep this a surprise for everyone else.

Would anyone like to deal with this beasty? I may see about having him become Growlmon for this event if the mods permit.
EDIT: Also, if Guilmon gets selected for Dark Digivolution, then he will become Megidramon, a vicious Mega level Digimon, so there's that.

Date: 2013-09-22 06:38 pm (UTC)Anyways, if Celes get selected for a Dark Digivolution, Drac as Musyamon is going to be a fucking nightmare for a Champion Virus Digimon. And by nightmare, as in attacking everyone and everything in sight and even probably killing Celestia at one point for not being the Bonnie part of their Bonnie and Clyde relationship. Her personality shift is just becoming more unaware and careless on everything, the slide into a given up despair (and in Dangan Ronpa, the fight between Hope vs. Despair is a major thing)
AND ONCE THIS GETS PAST, HOPEFULLY THESE TWO WILL BE BETTER PARTNERS...
So plotting here will be mostly Drac destroying things and fighting while Celes might get killed.

DARK DIGIVOLUTION: Musyamon
REASON: Celestia is a difficult person who doesn't want to get caught into fighting, doesn't want to get into other people's business unless her interest is caught, which is rare, and just wants to live peacefully on her own.
Drac, however, thinks differently from Celestia.
He wants to grow stronger while pulling pranks to make others miserable. He seeks to grow strength to even surpass everyone else (becoming GranDracmon) yet Celestia has been holding him back after two of his actions almost got him and herself killed or severely injured. They may get along with butting heads, but Drac is tired of being held back from her while Celes just wants to play cards by herself and not make any money like a true gambler would. Not enough money, especially with a dream of getting a castle on the back burner due of her death back at home and her previous fortunes gone. So once these two butt heads again with Drac giving her a wake up call to cause up some chaos, she is just going to keep refusing and wants to be alone like she doesn't care what happens to her as long as she lives in peace and doesn't fall into despair, which Drac plans just to do to get her back in gear.

DARK DIGIVOLUTION: Megidramon
REASON: As a digital hazard Digimon and a virus type, Guilmon has the potential to be highly destructive. He has dark digivolved before in canon, becoming the monstrosity that is Megidramon, fueled by Takato's rage at the loss of Leomon. In this case, the virus will overtake him, twisting his feelings and bringing out anger, bitterness, and loneliness. This will leave him fully susceptible to the effects of dark digivolution, as his normal inhibitions will no longer be in play.
